North Western Water Supply and Sanitation Company Limited (NWWSSCL) is a commercial utility incorporated under the Companies Act and licensed under the Water Supply and Sanitation Act. Owned by the local authorities of North Western Province, we plan, operate and maintain water supply and sanitation infrastructure serving urban, peri-urban and rural communities.
Under the 2025–2029 Strategic Plan we are expanding infrastructure, reducing non-revenue water, modernising customer service and building climate resilience across our service area.

NWWSSCL is mandated to plan, design, construct, operate and maintain water supply and sanitation infrastructure and services within North Western Province — in line with the Water Supply and Sanitation Act and the licensing framework of the National Water Supply and Sanitation Council (NWASCO).
Our mandate covers water abstraction, treatment and distribution; wastewater collection and treatment; customer billing and revenue collection; and the promotion of hygiene and sanitation across our service area.
